Solar Electrician

Overview Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Solar Electricians for projects located in Fort Stockton, TX. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $35-45/hour based on experience and skill level plus $100/per diem for travelers 60+miles from the job site. If you are a Solar Electrician eager to master your skills while working alongside our accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career! Job Scope: • Install and maintain fiber optic cables and related infrastructure within the battery storage facility • Terminate splice and test fiber optic cables to ensure proper connectivity and performance • Install and maintain fiber optic enclosures connectors and other network equipment • Diagnose and resolve fiber optic network issues including signal loss and equipment malfunctions • Troubleshoot test and repair fiber optic cables and related components • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of the fiber optic network • Conduct fiber optic testing using OTDR power meter and other relevant equipment • Document installation testing and maintenance activities • Maintain accurate records of fiber optic cable routes splices and terminations • Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations related to fiber optic work • Ensure proper handling and storage of fiber optic cables and equipment • Work safely in and around electrical and mechanical equipment Responsibilities • Strong understanding of fiber optic theory installation practices and testing procedures • Must have Ribbon Splicer and Fusion Splicer • Proficiency in fiber optic splicing termination and troubleshooting • Familiarity with different types of fiber optic cables connectors and enclosures • Knowledge of relevant testing equipment including OTDRs power meters and light sources • Ability to work with hand tools and power tools • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams • Experience working with fiber optic test equipment • Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills • High school diploma or equivalent.
