Superintendent I - Solar Install

Superintendent I SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking a Superintendent I that will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and supervising assistant superintendents, contractors, and craft activities in a particular area of discipline, while developing and enhancing customer relationships through excellent service. • VISA Sponsorships are not available for this position • 100% travel anywhere in the U.S. Cannot guarantee location near your home. • Start date after the 1st of the year (2026) RESPONSIBILITIES • Plan and implement to ensure all materials, equipment, and inspections support the project schedule • Review construction and contract documents for completeness and constructability • Coordinate plans and specifications with design engineers, resolving discrepancies • Develop and manage project schedules, including three and six-week look-ahead schedules • Develop a site logistics plan and lead the utilization of Mortenson tools and equipment • Collaborate with project partner superintendents • Conduct on-site project orientations, pre-construction planning sessions, and project site meetings • Supervise project partners, craft foremen, and crews; interview, hire, transfer, and dismiss craft team members as needed • Coach and mentor assistant superintendents, craft team members, and other project team members • Ensure proper task coding of work hours on timecards, track work progress and craft productivity • Handle craft team member training and conduct career development discussions • Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels • Lead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and manage performance • Provide high-level management of safety, quality, risk, and compliance for the project and team members • Recognize and mitigate unfavorable working conditions and seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures QUALIFICATIONS • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or 10 years trade experience • Minimum 5 years construction management or related experience • Current driver's license • Ability to fulfill responsibilities for multiple, complex projects • Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and manage multiple project tasks • Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills • Positive and professional attitude with strong customer service skills • Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies • Active listening skills and effective communication including openness to diverse input and feedback • Ability to travel up to 100% • Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity, inclusive behaviors, and Affirmative Action plans A few benefits offered include: (for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week) • Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverage • Dental plan • 401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson match • Paid time off, holidays, and other paid leaves • Employer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insurance • No-Cost mental health tool and conciergewith extensive work-life resources • Tuition reimbursement • Adoption Assistance • Gym Membership Discount Program • *The base pay range for this role is $108,600 - $162,900. Senior Safety Engineer I - Solar Construction | Mortenson

Senior Safety Engineer I Summary  Mortenson is currently seeking a Senior Safety Engineer I for our Solar Operating Group that will be responsible for implementing Mortenson’s Zero Injury Safety program across multiple project sites and ensuring a safe work environment for team members, subcontractors, and visitors to the construction work site. Visa Sponsorships are not available for this position. 100% Travel with regular rotations home every 3 weeks for 5 days required. Solar experience a plus. Job Description Safety Manager I SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking a passionate Safety Manager I who can interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Safety Manager will provide management, leadership, direction, and support within Mortenson's Zero Injury Safety program for multiple project teams and construction sites.
