About the Position The Colorado Program Associate plays a key role in supporting the implementation of Solar United Neighbors’ programs across the state, with a focus on expanding access to solar energy and supporting community-driven initiatives. This role balances grassroots engagement with program coordination, including building partnerships, supporting advocacy efforts, and managing solar group purchase campaigns in Colorado. Responsibilities Job responsibilities include: Community Engagement & Advocacy (30%) • Represent the Colorado Program in coalitions and at in-person and digital events. • Coordinate with the Community Impact Associate to develop grassroots community engagement and volunteer development in urban, suburban, and rural communities. • Engage with legislators, local governments, and partner organizations to advance the state program’s policy and programmatic goals. • Create resources to help SUN's Colorado supporters become more effective and informed advocates for solar. • Lead in-state digital organizing efforts by collaborating with SUN’s digital and communications teams and managing the Colorado Program Facebook page and listserv. Program Coordination & Support (60%) • Plan and implement solar co-ops across Colorado. This includes cultivating partner relationships, engaging with the media, conducting public Solar 101’s, holding in-person and virtual events, facilitating the installer selection process, and managing installer relationships with co-op members and SUN. • Support our Switch Together Colorado program by managing relationships with nonprofit and municipal partners. This will involve frequent communication with these groups to coordinate outreach, engagement events, and general updates on how the program is performing across participating cities. • Conduct policy, regulatory, and market research to support the Colorado program’s goals. • Provide technical assistance to individuals and entities interested in going solar. Organization-wide administration (10%) • Actively contribute to a workplace culture aligned with SUN’s values of equity, , continuous learning, action-oriented, and people-centered. • Show up fully for learning and planning and activities, including all-staff meetings, retreats, and strategy sessions. • Coordinate and work with external consultants as needed. • Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, and take notes. • As a key member of the team, contribute to brainstorming, developing, and executing new ideas. • Manage your own regular administration, including timely submission of timesheets, receipts, reimbursements, scheduling, traveling planning, and HR paperwork. • Other projects or tasks as assigned. Electrical/Solar Design Engineer- Utility Scale

Requirements: Required Qualifications • Bachelors in electrical engineering or other related discipline. • 3+ years’ experience designing commercial and/or utility scale solar PV systems. • Ability to communicate among construction, technical and non-technical personnel, both internally and outside the company. • 3+ years’ experience working with AutoCAD with an understanding of layer control, dimensioning and scaling, sheet sets, blocks, xrefs, line weights, plot files, and file transmission. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and additional computer software. • Possesses effective written and oral communications skills. • Must possess strong technical verbal and technical writing skills and be able to read technical literature and engineering plans. • Must demonstrate two-way communication to effectively work with internal staff and external clients. • Understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Mechanical General Superintendent (Solar EPC)

JOB OVERVIEW: This position will be a leader and trainer of construction systems, processes and consistent construction methods for the renewable energy business unit. This position will be a supervisor and Subject Matter Expert (SME) during the phases of engineering, planning, start-up, construction and closeout of utility-scale solar projects. They will lead the organization in developing safe, quality and efficient construction methods. They will ensure the project supervision is trained and adhering to standards and consistent project delivery. This individual must prove they have the capability to be an innovator and maintain an entrepreneurial spirit in developing the company delivery methods to be safe, high quality, efficient and effectively implemented. This position must demonstrate competency and a diverse background of construction methods in multiple industries. They must have the ability to listen and ability to build relationships with project supervision and construction teams. This position will be remote based with capability to travel and work on the project weekly. • Will be responsible for ensuring a safety culture is established on each project within the production functions. Will validate the safety program is being adhered to onsite and additional training is provided if not. • Will be responsible for ensuring the Superintendents are adhering to the design, construction species and construction methods to produce a quality product. • Responsible for supporting and establishing Solar Best Methods during the planning and construction stages of the project. Will work with Supt’s to refine crews and methods on the projects and request feedback from Superintendents, Foremen and the project team to determine if existing methods shall be updated or refined. • Will work side by side the Superintendents, GF, and Foremen during planning stages, startup and during each project to coach, mentor and develop these individuals for consistency and efficiency. • Work with each Supt during pre-construction stages to establish equipment plans, labor plans and material plans. Refer and compare back to estimate during this development. • Develop and update standardized Work Plans and Work Methods used by the company for estimating and work execution. Work with the Chief Estimator to ensure there is a relationship among all estimators and Supt’s. • Support the Site / Construction Manager on each project to ensure adequate and skill sets on the project. • May at times visit proposed project sites to support Estimating and Business Development. • Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: • Must have a valid driver license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR). • Ability to supervise many employees. • Thorough knowledge of tools and equipment uses and limitations. • Good communication skills to deal with owners and employees. • Possess a solid understanding of job costing. • May be required to become a qualified individual in pursuit of a company contract licensing. • Ability to read and understand prints and contract documents. • Knows and understand the required federal and state codes for the project. • Extensive Travel is required.
