Duties & Responsibilities: • Prepares construction cost estimates by doing takeoffs and analyzing all costs associated with the work. • Obtains quotes from vendors and subcontractors and ensures that scopes and qualifications meet project needs. • Attends meetings and speaks with customers, professionals, suppliers and team members. • Maintains quality service by following organization standards. • Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies. • Research upcoming projects • Track bid volumes for reporting • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • Associates degree or equivalent experience • 1- 3 years of construction estimating experience • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills • Excellent communication skills Benefits: • Competitive Salary • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance • Disability (Short and Long Term Disability) • Life Insurance • 401(k) • Paid Time Off

Engineering Project Assistant- AutoCAD Background Required

Top projects include major healthcare, higher education, and sports facilities as well as automotive, chemical, and pharmaceutical facilities. Duties & Responsibilities: • Review shop drawings and submittal packages for accuracy • Assist Project Manager with drawing development based on measurements • Communication with Engineers, Drafters, Project Managers, and other Project Engineers • Support Project Manager in execution of contractor bid process • Manages project costs for materials and labor • Assist in weekly tasks and job meetings during capital projects • Assist in the timely preparation and execution of product to construction site • Track panel orders and scheduling deliveries in accordance with construction schedule • Support the Project Manager with project closeout (i.e. punch lists, final invoicing, etc.) • Work with the Project Manager in the review of proposed change orders and their validity • Assist in the review of architecture plans for completeness and compliance with standards • Attend meetings, conferences, and/or seminars as directed • Adhere to all company policies and procedures • Perform other duties as required or as assigned Qualifications: • 2-year AutoCAD degree or equivalent AutoCAD experience • Ability to read design drawings • Eagerness to grow and learn about the construction and manufacturing industry • Eagerness to develop AutoCAD skills • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills • Excellent communication skills; both internal and external • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment Benefits: • Competitive Salary • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance • Disability (Short- and Long-Term Disability) • Life Insurance • 401(k) • Paid Time Off
