This can involve but is not limited to manufacturing, fabrication, assembling, handling, erection, installation, dismantling, conditioning, adjustment, alteration, repairing and servicing.Responsibilities: • Manufacturing, fabricating, assembling, handling, erecting, installing, dismantling, conditioning, adjusting, altering, repairing or servicing sheetmetal work• Measures, cuts and welds pieces together according to specifications, blueprints or other directions• Cuts, bends, and shapes sheet metal to required dimensions• Selects appropriate material for each job based on the desired or necessary strength• Connects pieces or secures seams by riveting, rolling, soldering, or using steel screws• Lagging over insulation and all duct-lining• Testing, servicing, and balancing of all air-handling equipment and duct work• Uses appropriate machinery and software applications to complete assigned jobs.• Installation of fabricated materials when working on a jobsite• Maintains clean and orderly work space.• Material delivery to jobsites when needed• Prolonged periods of lifting, reaching and working on scaffolding and overhead structures when necessary• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds• Performs other related duties as assignedQualifications: • High School Diploma (or equivalent) - required• Ability to complete sheet metal projects with accuracy and precision• Ability to safely use machinery and tools involved in sheet metal work• Ability to follow directions• Ability to read blueprints and schematics to understand product assignment• Tow motor experience - required• Successful completion of an apprenticeship / training program - required.• Certification - preferred• Knowledge of HVAC repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques, electrical circuits and wiring, operating principles of motors, and local electrical codes. • Communicate effectively with internal team and customers. • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. • Diagnose and resolve problems, follow written and verbal instructions, read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material, and perform math. • Ability to use hand and power tools. • Valid driver's licensePhysical DemandsMust be physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment including electronic and diagnostic tools, recovery equipment, and various other HVAC equipment.
