This position involves operating various types of power equipment and production machinery. Ø Responsibilities · Set up materials and machines based on the job at hand. · Read and interpret construction drawings. · Sand and polish steel and aluminum components based on the specifications. · Operate machinery used in production process or assist machine operators. · Assemble products as instructed by floor supervisor. · Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards, per company policy. · Keep work areas clean, organized, and take proper care of all equipment and facilities. · Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task. · Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency. · Prepare product for shipment/installation. · Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment/installation manually (up to 50 lbs.) Ø Qualifications and Education Requirements Succession in a welding program or technical school, one year of related experience/training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
