Sheet Metal Department Responsible for aluminum and steel welding, cutting, grinding, and fitting. LED wiring and power supply installation. Job Qualifications 1. High School Diploma or GED. 2. Able to perform general labor duties. 3. Ability to lift 75 pounds. 4. Ability to safely operate necessary tools/equipment. 5. Ability to stand for long periods of time. 6. Ability to work in a moderately noisy environment. 7. Ability to work in varying temperatures. 8. Ability to work overtime as needed. 9. Able to accurately read a tape measure. 10. Ability to operate a MIG welder. 11. Possess sheet metal fabrication skills. 12. Able to tolerate required PPE such as welding helmet, gloves and protective clothing. Equipment Welder, Tape Measure, Grinder, Radial Arm and Miter Saw, Mobile Crane, Basic Hand Tools. Job Duties/Knowledge Demonstrate proficiency using a tape measure to obtain precise measurements to 1/16". Proficient at reading blueprints/sketches/diagrams. Demonstrate ability to set up, maintain, and operate welding equipment adhering to safety standards. Demonstrate competency in inspecting welds to ensure safety and structural integrity. Demonstrate ability to assemble/fabricate steel and aluminum structures. Fit/weld according to drawing specifications Demonstrate competency in operating an overhead crane Demonstrate competency in operating various electric saws. Demonstrate competency in LED wiring and power supply installation. Inspect product regularly to ensure quality and accuracy of the finished product. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Complete assignments on time with high accuracy. Effectively communicate with supervisor(s) as warranted. Follow all employee policies and procedures assembled in the employee handbook. Utilize effective listening and communication skills to foster a positive and productive work environment. Maintain a safe work environment to include recognizing and reporting potential danger. Maintain professionalism with coworkers and management team. Assist with training new personnel. Demonstrate ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
