Job Description: • Accept jobs in online Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Review with technical experts to determine job routing required to manufacture parts and/or assemblies per the request. • Assign jobs to appropriate resources based on technical requirements, workload, scheduling and business priorities. • Communicate with customers to clarify requests and negotiate delivery dates if needed. • Coordinate the purchase of lower level materials and tooling. • Create Routings in ShopTrack. • Manage jobs through all process steps, working with each department to meet the customer request. • Manage outsourcing of work to external suppliers, including request for quotes (RFQs), managing purchase orders and ensuring delivery dates are met. • Ensure data in Manufacturing Execution System is up to date and accurate. • Collect data from MES, maintain and report Model Shop weekly metrics (MS Excel). • To succeed in this role, you must be a strong communicator, exhibit technical leadership and be proactive.
