Job Overview We are seeking a skilled ACM Assembler / Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, including proficiency in various construction techniques and the ability to read and interpret schematics. This role involves working in a construction warehouse and requires mechanical knowledge to fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications. Must be able to accurately and proficiently read a tape measure. Duties • Utilize various construction techniques to build ACM Panels • Read and interpret blueprints, and technical drawings to determine project requirements. • Operate power tools and machinery, including press brake machines, to shape and cut metal materials. • Perform quality checks on fabricated components to ensure they meet industry standards. • Collaborate with team members in the warehouse to execute projects efficiently. • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Skills • Proficiency in construction techniques is essential. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. • Familiarity with operating power tools safely and effectively. • Ability to fabricate metal components based on detailed drawings. • Must be able to accurately and proficiently read a tape measure. • Previous experience working on construction sites is preferred but not mandatory. • Must be able to work our shop hours which start at 5am Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.50 - $20.50 per hour Work Location: In person
