PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR I: Salary: $20-24.00 PER HOUR • Needs guidance and QC for set-up and operation of press brake. • Needs assistance in machine set up, interpreting blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process. • Requires guidance in adjusting machine setting to complete tasks according to specification and accurately. • Has knowledge of commonly-used fabrication concepts, safety practices, and procedures. • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. • Works under immediate supervision. PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR II: Salary: $24-28.00 PER HOUR • Sets up and operates a press brake with minimal guidance. • Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate process at a journeyman level. • Adjusts machine setting to complete tasks according to specification and accurately. • Has expert knowledge of commonly-used fabrication concepts, safety practices, and procedures. • Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. • Must perform at 100% of the estimated times and/or work with supervisor to update realistic times in E2. • Works under minimal supervision. PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR III: Salary: $29-35.00 PER HOUR • Set up and operate a press brake for complex parts with multiple bends. • Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine appropriate welding process at an expert level. • Inspects other parts in the Press Brake Department. • Must be able to utilize the Flux Program. • Adjusts machine setting to complete tasks according to specification and accurately. • Oversees other employees on commonly used fabrication concepts, safety practices, and procedures. • Must perform at 100% of the estimated times and/or work with supervisor to update realistic times in E2. • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Responsibilities: • Knowledge of press brake tooling and the ability to set up. • Quality check the accuracy of work using precision measuring tools. • 2-5 years of experience in this field. • Conduct quality inspections on products and parts. • Meeting deadlines and able to work in a timely manner. • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area. • Able to work full-time with numerous overtime opportunities.
