Press Brake Operator (Sheet Metal)

We are seeking a skilled press brake operator to join our team at our Erie facility. If you have experience operating a CNC Press Brake machine, please apply! The starting wage range posted is for ~1 -3 years of experience. Starting wage will be dependent upon experience and skill level. We have 2 skill level ranges for machine operators. If you do not have at least 6 months of recent experience operating a press brake in a sheet metal manufacturing environment,please do not apply. This position requires at least 6 months of recent experience. POSITION SUMMARY: Setup and safely operate CNC Press Brakes to process/produce highest quality products. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: • Setup and document tooling and safe practices for Press Brake operations • Verify accuracy of machine settings to confirm accurate tolerances and machine functions. • Operators will be required to maintain accurate parts and motivation on routine repetitive jobs. • During operations Operator will be required to maintain cleanliness of the machine. • In process checks will be required by the operator to maintain all required tolerances and quality. • Completes all required safety procedures prior to and during operations. • Communicates all production related items to next shift operators or shift supervisors. Fabrication Shift Supervisor

Job Summary The Fabrication Shift Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of F3 Metalworx, Inc.’s fabrication department. This position is responsible for leading frontline production teams, ensuring quality standards, and driving operational efficiency in alignment with company goals. The Supervisor works closely with the Erie Plant Manager to execute production plans, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain a safe, organized, and high-performing work environment. Responsibilities • Lead daily fabrication operations to meet production schedules, quality standards, and delivery targets • Supervise production teams, promoting accountability, safety, and performance • Support the Plant Manager and/or Operations Manager by coordinating with Scheduling, Purchasing, and Senior Leadership to plan jobs and align priorities • Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Planning to resolve production issues and ensure process alignment • Monitor and report key operational metrics including Safety, Quality, On-Time Delivery (OTD), Retention, % Earned, and Scrap • Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve throughput, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency • Champion standard operating procedures, cross-training, and best practices to improve consistency and flexibility • Maintain accurate inventory of consumables and enforce FIFO storage methods • Oversee equipment maintenance scheduling in coordination with the Maintenance team • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations; participate in accident investigations as a safety committee member • Foster high employee morale and manage attrition through proactive engagement and workforce planning • Partner with the Operations Manager/Plant Manager and HR to recruit, onboard, train, and retain skilled labor; support performance management initiatives • Ensure proper handling, packaging, and staging of finished goods for shipping • Maintain clean and organized production areas in accordance with housekeeping standards • Support documentation and implementation of new processes and improvement initiatives • Maintain optimal staffing levels to meet production demands while minimizing downtime • Communicate progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality and quantity standards are met • Uphold company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook Skills • 1-3+ years of proven experience in supervising a fabrication and/or sheet metal forming team • Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, and other welding techniques. • Familiarity with operating cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings • Competence in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools • Experience in fabrication processes including ductwork assembly, pipe threading, rigging, and soldering • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to manufacturing tasks • Ability to operate various power tools safely and effectively • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards achieving production goals Join us as we strive for excellence in our operations while fostering a collaborative work environment where every team member contributes to our success!
