We are seeking a skilled press brake operator to join our team at our Erie facility. If you have experience operating a CNC Press Brake machine in sheet metal manufacturing, please apply! Starting wage is for ~1 year of experience. Starting wage will be dependent upon experience and skill level. 1st and 2nd shift availability. POSITION SUMMARY: Setup and safely operate CNC Press Brakes to process/produce highest quality products. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: • Interprets blueprint dimensions and all indicators, symbols, and tolerances. • Setup and document tooling and safe practices for Press Brake operations • Verify accuracy of machine settings to confirm accurate tolerances and machine functions. • Operators will be required to maintain accurate parts and motivation on routine repetitive jobs. • During operations Operator will be required to maintain cleanliness of the machine. • In process checks will be required by the operator to maintain all required tolerances and quality. • Completes all required safety procedures prior to and during operations. • Communicates all production related items to next shift operators or shift supervisors. "MUST HAVE" Qualifications: • Ability to read and understand blueprints • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. on your own and up to 200+ lbs. in a team lift or with equipment assistance • Ability to walk, bend, stoup, crouch, kneel, climb, stand for 10 hours • Ability to work in high temperatures • Ability to communicate needs and concerns in a timely manner • Ability to read and understand process sheets • Ability to hear horns, buzzers, and an intercom page • Ability to wear proper PPE- safety glasses, earplugs, gloves, and steel or safety toe shoes or boots • Experience operating CNC Press Brake in a sheet metal manufacturing environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $15.50 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Employee assistance program • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Schedule: • 10 hour shift • 4x10 People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Experience: • Sheet Metal Manufacturing: 1 year (Required) • press brake: 1 year (Required) • Blueprint reading: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: • Erie, PA 16505 (Required) Work Location: In person
