Brake Press Operator • Setup and operate machines to bend or straighten metal material • Set stops on machine beds, change dies, and adjust components, such as rams or power presses, when making multiple or successive passes • Measure completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers, or rulers • Read work orders or blueprints to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, locations of cutting lines, or dimensions and tolerances This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
