Piping, Plumbing, & Sheet Metal Detailer

Control Air Enterprises LLC is looking for an experienced and professional Piping, Plumbing, & Sheet Metal Detailers who can immediately join our headquarters in Anaheim, California. Work full-time in our professional office environment. The candidate must be proficient in preparing and coordinating, for construction purposes, detailed, accurate 3D Revit models for use in HVAC piping construction shop drawings, and pre-fabrication spool sheets. Duties and responsibilities: • Creating high quality 3D Revit models of HVAC piping for installation and pre-fabrication, shop drawings for issue to manufacturing and installation. • Coordination of 3D HVAC piping models with other trades using Navisworks. • Review project drawings, specifications and apply/incorporate prior to issue of shop drawings for manufacturing and installation. • Work closely with construction management team to ensure drawings convey correct information. • Self-check own work for completeness, accuracy, conformance with standards. • Work closely with Superintendents, Foremen, and Construction team members. • Identify potential problems with design intent quickly and present cost-effective solutions. • Field surveys as required for renovation work. • Work with minimal supervision, be a self-starter, motivated and detail oriented. • Report to supervisor on status of work, work load, problems, and progress as related to work assignments. Qualifications: • Experience in HVAC piping installation with experience at field supervision/Foreman. • 10 years of HVAC pipe detailing/ modeling experience. • Certification from a recognized Revit training facility is preferred. • A familiar knowledge of sheet metal and plumbing systems is desired. • Knowledge of structural steel and construction as applies to drawing and modelling a building with an emphasis on BIM coordination. • Able to manage workload under own initiative and maintain project and fabrication schedules. • Able to contribute in design review process and offer value engineering solutions. • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks. • Excellent knowledge of blueprint reading. • Excellent knowledge of drafting standards. Assembly Lead

Pinnacle Precision Sheet Metal is focused on build-to-print manufacturing of simple and complex sheet metal, machined and welded components in support of commercial aircraft, medical and many other industrial related applications. Position Summary – Assembly Lead Pinnacle Precision Sheet Metal is looking for an assembly lead. The individual will fabricate and assemble a variety of different assemblies and supporting hardware, applying knowledge of assembly techniques, and using precision instruments, hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment. Reads and interprets blueprints, work orders, and related documentation to determine method and sequence of operations and dimensional and finish specifications. Assumes responsibility for maintaining accurate inventory. MUST be well versed in AS9100 and ITAR QMS and inspection techniques and equipment. Duties/Responsibilities • Before starting work, review the work order and make sure that all prior processes are signed off and completed • Ensure activities are performed correctly and proper tooling and documentation is used • Set up hardware machines • Approve parts by checking the process planning, surface finish, bends, holes, cleanliness, etc. – as directed. • Inspect cosmetic and dimensional specifications • Use gloves for the handling of parts as needed • Keep an accurate count of the parts • Load parts onto carts in an organized manner • Record and notify supervisor of any non-conformances • Maintains a clean working area • Follows all safety rules and reports any safety concerns • Demonstrates self-motivation and maintains a fast pace • Maintains a good attitude with management & coworkers • Help as needed in all areas of their Dept. • Cross train as needed in other departments • Lifting parts up to 40lbs. or less may be required • Maintain basic time keeping and job records on computer database • Help team evaluate trends of labor standards, costs and process improvements • Provide support for Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, companywide Qualifications • 3+ years’ prior experience assembling components within the Aerospace industry is desired. • Must have a high school diploma or GED. • Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics, blueprints, work instructions and use standard shop machine tools. • Knowledge of basic shop math • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. English proficiency is required. • Ability to interact effectively with supervision, management and customer representatives. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Demonstrated knowledge of workplace Health and Safety requirements. • Ability to work overtime as required.
