Senior Fabrication Specialist

Expertise in mechanical engineering is required for this position. This role involves assembling, fabricating, and repairing mechanical/electrical components and systems in accordance with specification and drawings. Key responsibilities include: • Fabricate, assemble, and install equipment or components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to understand project requirements • Perform repairs and maintenance on existing mechanical systems and equipment • Ensure all fabrication work meets quality standards and safety regulations • Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues and implement effective solutions • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time • Document fabrication process and maintain records of work performed Preferred qualifications include technical training or certifications, such as ASME Section IX B31.3, AWS D1.6 Structural, electrical apprentice, SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, pipe fitter, sheet metal, machining, plumbing, and/or electrical.
