Archer Mechanical is seeking full-time Experienced Apprentice Plumbers (2nd year and above) and Journeyman Plumbers to join our growing team in Rexburg, Idaho. Responsibilities • Install plumbing and mechanical systems in compliance with codes, project documents, and quality standards. • Perform piping and fitting tasks, including cutting, threading, grooving, soldering, and brazing. • Anticipate project needs by preparing tool and material requests in advance. • Review and follow project layouts, drawings, and specifications, participating in BIM coordination as required. • Support quality assurance by inspecting and maintaining craftsmanship standards. • Identify and help resolve project challenges, including change orders. • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and foremen to forecast labor, equipment, and material needs. • Maintain safe job sites in accordance with OSHA and Archer Mechanical safety standards. • Contribute to project reporting, scheduling, and progress tracking. • Mentor, train, and support team members—Journeymen lead crews and apprentices while Experienced Apprentices continue developing their skills under supervision. Qualifications Experienced Apprentice (2nd Year+): • Valid apprentice license in plumbing. • Must be at least a 2nd-year apprentice (2A and above). • Strong work ethic and commitment to learning. • Ability to work safely and collaboratively in a team. Journeyman Plumber: • Valid Journeyman plumbing license. • Minimum of 4 years plumbing experience. • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. • Ability to manage crews, workflow, and ensure code compliance.
