Description JOB PURPOSE: As part of the Energy 1 team, the Plumbing Master will help install plumbing for high-end custom residential and commercial clients. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will report to the Plumbing Department Manager and will serve as a critical member of the construction team. The Plumbing Master will be required to meet all current Federal and State requirements of a licensed master plumber where applicable. Specific job duties: • Operate as the point of contact for general contractors, subs, and clients. • Maintain regular communication with General Contractors, Sub-Contractors, and Clients. • Regularly visit sites to maintain working relationships with site superintendents. • Read and work from blueprints, technical manuals, charts, and schematics. • Work closely with accounting for project and departmental budgets. • Work closely with purchasing manager to procure materials. • Efficiently communicate new project needs with field/admin/accounting. • Engage in project forecasting and the creation of schedules. • Facilitate project kickoff meetings. • Appropriately account for scope and exclusions in all contracts. • Provide approval of all project billing and change orders in coordination with the project admin. • Provide oversight and final approval on employee timekeeping. • Perform all plumbing work in accordance with code and company standards.
