Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Deliver Projects on Budget and Schedule: • Work 40 hours per week, arriving punctually and adhering to scheduled breaks and lunches. • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure adherence to project standards. • Attend daily and weekly meetings with the Project Foreman or Project Manager to understand project goals. • Prepare tools and materials in advance to maximize task efficiency. • Ensure quality workmanship to prevent deficiencies and avoid rework. • Proactively request tools or materials early to prevent production delays. • Customer Service and Jobsite Maintenance: • Refer all customer inquiries regarding changes to project timelines, work scope, or design to the Project Foreman. • Communicate professionally and courteously with customers and report any concerns to the Project Foreman. • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite. • Maintain Licensing and Participate in Training: • Maintain an active journeyman plumber's license (Idaho residents) and meet all continuing education requirements. • If licensed from another state, obtain an Idaho journeyman license within 6 months of the start date or hold an apprentice license if necessary. • Actively participate in the company's training and development programs. • Employee Evaluation and Performance: • Participate in regular employee evaluations, setting personal and professional goals. • Work with supervisors to improve skills and track progress based on evaluation feedback. • Mentor and train plumbing apprentices, guiding them through company procedures and best practices. The ideal candidate should possess: • Valid journeyman plumbing license (Idaho or ability to obtain within 6 months). • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to follow instructions and adapt to project requirements. • Proficiency in reading blueprints and project documentation. • Commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality workmanship. • Willingness to mentor and train plumbing apprentices.
