Horizon, a leading national multi-family plumbing contractor, is seeking a qualified and dependable Plumbing Superintendent to join our expanding team. We are involved in various projects across Florida, Virginia, Colorado, South Carolina, and other states. Position Location: Sarasota/Bradenton, FL Key Responsibilities: • Oversee day-to-day plumbing activities on new construction projects, including multifamily apartment buildings, assisted living facilities, student housing, and hotels. • Ensure adherence to company procedures and building codes for a fully functional plumbing system. • Maintain and manage onsite material inventory. • Conduct daily site inspections to ensure efficient, accurate, and code-compliant installations. • Manage the installation schedule by training and directing subcontractor crews. • Oversee daily cleanup of project debris by subcontractors. • Maintain and submit daily and weekly reports. • Coordinate with local authorities for required inspections. • Verify and coordinate layouts and installations of slabs, rough-ins, top-outs, and trims. Minimum Requirements: • At least 5 years of experience in multifamily and/or commercial construction. • Proven ability to manage plumbing projects from start to finish, including layout, underground plumbing, top-out, and trim-out. • In-depth knowledge of plumbing installation and technical aspects, with strong skills in reading and interpreting construction plans. • Experience with Blue Beam and Hilti Total Station is a plus. • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. • State licenses are not required for all projects.
