Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor Job Summary: Installs, maintains and repairs pipes and fixtures associated with heating, cooling, water distribution and sanitation systems through the casino. Fix and maintain kitchen equipment. Essential Functions: • Ensure compliance with the applicable Tribal, Federal and other laws and gaming regulations and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures. • Ensure the highest possible standards of guest services by properly listening and responding to guest and team member concerns and questions. • Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems and other plumbing materials. • Install pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air or other liquids. • Install supports for pipes, equipment and fixtures prior to installation. • Assemble fittings and valves for installation • Modify length of pipes, fixtures and other plumbing material as needed for building. • Use saws, pipe cutters and other equipment as necessary. • Install heating and air-conditioning systems, including water heaters. • Collaborate with vendors for leaks and other problems. • Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems. • Analyze problems and identify appropriate tools and materials for repair. • Choose plumbing materials based on budget, location and intended uses of building. • Follow health and safety standards and comply with building codes. • Write reports documenting the problem and summary of action taken. • Perform inspection of plumbing systems to identify and replace worn parts. • Demonstrate and promote KLECH core values. • Manage and maintain security of confidential information entrusted to position. • Attend and satisfactorily complete all required training as assigned. • Monitor compliance with Federal currency transaction reporting requirements, Title 31 requirements and IRS Currency Transaction Reports and property established Anti-Money Laundering policies. Spanish or other language skills a plus. Other Criteria: Qualified Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Members and qualified Native American preference is observed.
