Responsibilities: POSITION SUMMARY: Perform journeyman level installation, repair, assembly and maintenance of water, sewage, drainage, air, gas and vacuum systems and related equipment and facilities in accordance with pertinent state and local codes; provide technical guidance and direction to lower level personnel. . Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Work requires 4 years of experience in the installation and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures. Or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Ability to coordinate and work well with other personnel. 2. Practical knowledge of mathematics, plumbing theory and formulas with ability to calculate plumbing characteristics. 3. Knowledge of state and local plumbing codes. 4. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer. EDUCATION / LICENSURE: 1. High School diploma, GED or Higher Education required. Technical or trade courses preferred. 2. Current plumbing city or state (Texas) certification required. 3. Must be able to travel between facilities as needed.
