As a vital member of our facilities department, you will play a key role in ensuring our equipment is properly maintained and functioning at optimal levels. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment, including but not limited to piping systems, valves, pumps, and other mechanical components. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and determine the best course of action for repairs. Install and modify piping systems to meet the needs of the facility and equipment. Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal functionality. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including materials used and work performed. Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures to minimize equipment downtime. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and technological advancements in equipment maintenance and repair. Maintain a safe and organized work area, following all company and OSHA safety protocols. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to identify and resolve equipment issues. Assist in the training and development of new team members as needed. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness of equipment maintenance processes.
