Journeyman Pipefitter

HIRING LOCALLY IN THE DFW METROPLEX. NO PER DIEM. • ***Experience with Stainless Steel a MUST Pipefitter Job Description: Install, repair, and build pipe systems for heating, hot water, cooling, and more in commercial buildings. Pipefitter Job Duties: • Install various types of pipes utilizing blueprints. • Cut and assemble pipe using hand and or power tools. • Repair defective pipe. • Test pipes to ensure proper functionality and safety. • Connect piping systems with fittings, tack welding, or threaders. • Perform all other job duties as needed. Pipe Fitter Qualifications: • Minimum 4 years of recent verifiable experience with pipefitting. • Experience in commercial new construction and renovations. • Hand tools are required for pipefitting. • Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions. • Ability to work overtime if requested. • Must have basic PPE (Work Boots | Hard Hat | Etc.) • Must be able to commute to projects in DFW. Pipefitter

The Pipefitter is responsible for selecting the appropriate type and size of pipe, supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders based on job specifications. • Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to determine pipe layout and installation requirements. • Cutting, threading, bending, and assembling pipes to fit designated spaces and configurations. • Measuring and marking pipework accurately to ensure proper fit and alignment. • Installing and securing pipe systems, including supports and hangers, to ensure stability and safety. • Connecting pipe sections using welding, threading, or other methods, and testing systems for leaks and functionality. • Maintaining tools and equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring work complies with industry standards.
