Job Summary The Plumber Apprentice performs maintenance duties under the guidance of a senior technician, participating in an apprentice program with mentorship and training. Essential Duties • Identify leak locations and perform repairs. • Replace or repair parts. • Determine needed equipment and materials. • Solve basic plumbing problems. • Maintain logs, perform rounds, complete work orders, tests, and inspections. • Keep facilities and grounds clean and safe. • Attend at least 144 hours of classroom training annually. • Utilize site CMMS software for work documentation in real-time. • Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications • Valid driver’s license. • Registered in a USDOL-approved Plumber Apprentice Program. • Ability to operate hand tools and equipment. • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, kneel, bend, and perform strenuous labor. Working Conditions • Exposure to heat, noise, dust, dirt, and infection control areas. • Ability to meet deadlines and work flexible hours, including weekends and nights as needed.
