Job Title: Pipefitter Position Summary: We are looking for a skilled Pipefitter to install, assemble, fabricate, and maintain mechanical piping systems in industrial and commercial settings. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of piping layout, system installation, and safety procedures, and is comfortable working with a variety of tools and materials. Key Responsibilities: • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and piping diagrams • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles using hand and power tools • Assemble and install piping systems and supports • Install and test piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges and other tools • Maintain and repair existing piping systems • Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and other piping materials • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment • Coordinate with other trades and supervisors on job sites Requirements: • 3+ years of pipefitting experience in industrial, mechanical, or commercial settings • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints • Skilled in using pipe-threading machines, welding equipment, and cutting tools • Familiarity with various types of piping systems (steam, gas, water, refrigerant, etc.) • OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus • Strong understanding of job site safety standards • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions (climbing, crouching, etc.) • Must have reliable transportation and own hand tools United Trades of America is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
