Job Title: Pipe Fitter Location: Various Job Site and Locations. Summary: We are looking for an experienced pipefitter to join our team. As a pipefitter your role is to install, modify, and repair piping systems as needed. One must have precise measuring and excellent mathematical skills, as well as respect for safety precautions. Responsibilities: • Read and interpret drawings/design change procedures to install piping systems • Install, modify, and/or repair piping systems, pipe hangers, and supports • Use power and hand tools including, but not limited to, small machine tools, grinders, drills, and hand tools required for metal fabrication. • Ability to prep piping for welding, know/perform different types of bevels, and post weld ISI prep. • Adhere to all site and company rules, regulations, PPE requirements, etc. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: • 3 years minimum of industrial pipe fitting experience, nuclear experience a plus • Ability to pass background screens and drug/alcohol testing as required by our customers. • Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as working as part of a team. • Must have reliable transportation, be able to travel extensively, and work variable hours. • TWIC card a plus. Physical Requirements • Ability to work 10+ hours per day, up to 7 days/week • Ability to work in both hot and cold conditions, with possible exposure to radiation or chemicals • Ability to perform field work in all areas of the job site, including ability to climb ladders, stairs, and scaffolds at various heights • Ability to bend, kneel, crawl, or stoop around equipment safely • Ability to work in confined spaces, if needed • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and lift up to 20 pounds overhead
