Pay: $27–$34 per hour Hours: 46+ hours per week (overtime available) Location: Athens, GA Position Overview: We are currently seeking highly experienced Pipefitters for an industrial/commercial project in Athens, GA. This position is ideal for a dependable, safety-conscious individual with a strong mechanical aptitude and at least 7 years of hands-on pipefitting experience. Key Responsibilities: • Select type and size of pipe and related materials/equipment (supports, hangers, cylinders) per job specifications • Plan and sequence installations to avoid obstructions and coordinate with other trades • Thread pipe using a threading machine • Bend pipe manually or with tools/machinery • Assemble and install metal and non-metal piping systems using a variety of joining methods (threaded, soldered, brazed, fused, cemented) • Secure pipes to structure using brackets, clamps, and hangers • Install and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems including compressors, pumps, and controls • Test piping systems for leaks by pressurizing and monitoring gauges • Weld pipe supports to steel structural members as needed • Read and interpret blueprints and piping diagrams Requirements: • Minimum 7 years of pipefitting experience required • Familiarity with industrial and commercial systems • Proficiency in blueprint reading • Reliable transportation and availability for overtime • Must have own basic hand tools and standard PPE • Welding certifications a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour Schedule: • 10 hour shift • 8 hour shift Work Location: In person

Pipe Welder/Fitter

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pipe Welder with 7+ years of hands-on experience in industrial, commercial, or specialized pipe welding projects. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work in demanding environments. Key Responsibilities: • Weld pipe components and assemblies using SMAW, GTAW, MIG, or other processes as required • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and isometric diagrams to determine project requirements • Prepare, cut, bevel, and fit pipe sections according to specifications • Conduct inspections of welds to ensure compliance with applicable codes (e.g., ASME, API, AWS) • Perform weld repairs and modifications as needed • Collaborate with pipefitters, engineers, and supervisors to complete jobs efficiently • Maintain welding equipment and tools in optimal condition • Follow all site-specific and OSHA safety standards and procedures Qualifications: • Minimum 7 years of experience as a pipe welder in industrial or commercial settings • Proficient in various welding techniques, especially TIG and Stick welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other alloys • Strong ability to read and interpret technical documentation • Certification(s) in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME Section IX) preferred or required depending on the project • Familiarity with pressure testing and non-destructive testing methods • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality Job Type: Temporary Pay: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour Expected hours: 50 per week Schedule: • 10 hour shift • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday • Weekends as needed Experience: • Pipe threading: 7 years (Required) Work Location: In person
