Key Responsibilities: • Install, inspect, and repair piping systems, including water, gas, and industrial piping. • Cut, thread, weld, and assemble pipes using various tools and techniques. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine the layout and installation of piping systems. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry codes, and project requirements. • Test piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges and other testing equipment. • Work closely with other trades, including welders, plumbers, and general contractors. • Maintain an organized and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA standards. • Train and mentor apprentices and junior pipe fitters.
