Summary/Objective: Lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs and maintains commercial and industrial production and processing piping systems Essential Functions: • Interprets sketches, blue prints and isometric drawings • Cleans, bevels, prepares and installs pipe with various fittings and weld joints • Performs layout, rigging and transportation of pipe, valves and fittings • Installs pipe and related materials and equipment • Inspects worksite to determine presence of obstructions • Plans sequence on installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other workers • Cuts pipe using, pipe cutter, cutting torch and pipe cutting machine • Threads pipe using threading machine • Secures pipes to structure with bracket, clamps, and hangers, using hand and power tools • Tests piping systems • Loads, transports and unloads material, tools, equipment and supplies • Assists in lifting, positioning and securing of material and work pieces during installation • Maintains tools and equipment • Relies on pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job • Performs other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibility: No Required: • 3-5 years' experience as a pipe fitter; or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience • Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills • Must adhere to all company policy and procedures • Must be available, and have the means to report to multiple job sites as assigned The work environment and physical demands required would be representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, and may include, but are not limited to the following: Work Environment: • May work in varying temperatures; both inside and outside, including inclement weather, heat, humidity, cold, and dampness • May work in areas with exposure to moderate/high noise levels • May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles including dust • May be required to work in confined spaces or from high heights Physical Demands: • This role routinely uses construction equipment such as heavy machinery, hand and power tools • While performing duties of the job the employee may work aloft, climb, bend, pull, reach overhead, stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs. • Frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms • Must be able to correctly identify all colors of a color-coded cable/wires and see close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus Travel: • May require travel Preferred: • NCCER certified • Prior military experience • HS diploma or GED equivalent Visit www.acibuilds.com for more information! 6G Pipefitter - Travel Required

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. ​is looking to place a Pipefitter for a nationwide traveling position. This person will be responsible for various types of weld preparation to manufacture product to customer drawings and specifications. Advancement opportunities are available. Travel is required; the company pays for and arranges travel. About the Position: • Job Security: Long-term, permanent position with benefits and year-round work • Weekly pay • Travel schedule that typically has you home every other weekend for 4 days. (Fri-Mon) • Application takes 5-10 minutes, receive feedback in 2-3 business days Key Duties: • Ability to read P&ID, isometric and shop drawings • Ability to field measure, cut and fit up carbon steel pipe and fittings using tools of the trade • Ability to tack weld and weld flat plate • Oxygen/Acetylene Torch cutting, grinding and beveling pipe. • Fit up Butt-weld/ Socket-weld 90s, 45, flanges etc • Perform rigging using chain hoist, slings and shackles, fork lifts and cranes • Operate pipe threading machine 300 machine, port a pony etc • Install pipe hangers, stands and trapezes • PVC and copper piping • Assist the jobsite team in the following areas as needed: insulation, electrical, and painting • Other duties as needed on the job sites Requirements: • Minimum of 3 years’ industrial pipe fitting experience • Prefer Foreman, Lead Man, or other leadership experience • Extensive travel required (typical tour is from the Tuesday of 1st week to the Thursday of 2nd week, with 12 hour days) • Companies are a tobacco-free workplace and, as such, no tobacco products are allowed during the workday on the jobsite(s) • General welding skills-tack weld pipe, fittings, and valves as well as flat plate • Use Oxygen/Acetylene torch • Ability to climb 40-foot extension ladders and work on all types of ladders • Ability to operate scissor lifts, fork trucks, boom lifts, lulls and other industrial equipment safely • Must be able to work at heights in a safety harness • Must have a valid driver’s license and be capable of driving up to 10 hours • Ability to see and hear industrial equipment moving around the job site • Requires communication and contact with others (face to face, telephone, email, or otherwise) • Capable of working alone up to 12 hours carrying out assigned tasks • Capable of lifting 75lbs frequently during the day • Must be able to stand, stoop bend, kneel and squat for extended periods of time • Requires working in very hot (above 100F) or very cold (below 10F) temperatures and the ability to wear all required safety PPE in these conditions. • Position requires pre-employment drug screening, felony screening, and DUI screening Benefits: • Health Insurance - Company pays 75% of monthly premiums for employees and their families • Dental Insurance • Competitive vacation & holiday pay • Supplemental insurance available • 401(k) Retirement Plan - Company matches dollar-for-dollar up to 15% • Short-term and Long-term disability • Accidental death/dismemberment • Life insurance • Travel, travel time, lodging, and per diem company paid • Employee referral incentives • Opportunities for advancement, professional development, training opportunities, and apprenticeship programs available • Discounts on cell phone plans, rental vehicles, and other company discounts (if applicable)
