About the position Responsibilities • Install industrial piping systems including chill water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensed water. • Apply routine maintenance on pipe systems. • Inspect work area to ensure nothing will affect potential pipe systems. • Read blueprints and troubleshoot issues as they arise. • Work with multiple materials of pipe (Stainless, Carbon Steel, etc.). • Fabricate pipe supports. • Fabricate and spool copper lines. • Perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements • Minimum 5 years of Pipefitter experience. • Must have pipefitter hand tools. • Knowledge of pipefitter equipment and power tools. • Knowledge of pipe fabrication methods. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Willingness to prioritize personal safety and the safety of others. • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player. • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift. • Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time. • Self-motivated individual with a cooperative attitude. • Ability to communicate effectively with the shop foreman regarding safety and craftsmanship. • Ability to work under direct supervision if required.
