Pipefitters install and repair high and low-pressure pipe systems used in manufacturing in generation of electricity, and in heating/cooling systems. Pipefitters work from blueprints and drawings. They lay out the job and perform such tasks as measuring, marking, cutting, and threading pipe to connect pipe systems.
