Job Title: Journeyman Pipefitter Locations: Denver, Eagle, Leadville Reports To: Project Manager / Superintendent Job Type: Full-Time Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Pipefitter to lead field operations and ensure the successful completion of projects. The ideal candidate will have completed a 4-year apprenticeship, possess strong technical skills, and demonstrate leadership in managing crews, maintaining safety, and executing high-quality work. Essential Job Functions: • Fulfill all responsibilities expected of a 4-year HVAC/piping apprentice. • Demonstrate proficiency in tools, equipment, and methods required for HVAC and piping installations. • Maintain possession of all company-required tools and ensure their proper use. • Direct field crew activities according to job priorities and project schedules. • Submit accurate and timely daily job progress reports. • Proactively order materials to ensure seamless project execution and avoid delays. • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free jobsite at all times. • Safely operate and maintain company-owned equipment; ensure prompt return of rented equipment. • Track and report labor hours, materials used, and any change orders with precision. • Mentor apprentices and crew members, promoting adherence to safety standards and best practices. Pipefitting Journeyman

Essential Job Functions • Meet all requirements of 4 year Apprentice. • Knowledge of all tools, equipment and skills necessary for the complete installation of projects common to the HVAC/piping industry. • Possession of the tools as required by the company. • Direct the activities of field crew member(s) in accordance with job schedules and priorities as coordinated with project manager/customer/general contractor and field foreman as applicable. • Submit daily job progress reports to supervisors as required. • Responsible for ordering stock or fabricated materials as far in advance as possible either personally or through site foreman to ensure completion of assigned tasks. • Responsible for physical jobsite organization and housekeeping to ensure a safe professional work area. • Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of company equipment as well as monitoring the use and timely return of rented equipment. • Responsible for the accurate accounting of labor hours to the accounting department, material sheets and change orders, etc. • Responsible for instruction and on the job training of apprentices/crew members which includes emphasis on safety. • Responsible for obtaining and maintaining necessary licensing/certification for performing work in areas where such is required. • Responsible for maintaining knowledge of local/national codes and industry standards. Ensure that all necessary inspections are made through all phases of work. • Support the total quality effort. Identify and respond to the needs of internal and external customers 100% of the time. • Work within the guidelines of the safety and employee policy. • All other duties as assigned within the Piping Department. • Promote MTech business values and culture • Promote proper use of company assets • Regular and predictable attendance is expected in order to meet the requirements of this position • Other duties as assigned.
