The position requires the execution of journeyman plumbing work, which involves unstopping commodes, sinks, and floor drains, as well as replacing washers, seats, traps, valves, supply lines, and other plumbing accessories and fixtures. Additionally, the Plumber will be responsible for repairing or replacing equipment and components that are not operational or are outdated, ensuring that systems operate efficiently. The role also includes completing preventative maintenance checks, routine work orders, and participating in new construction, remodels, or modifications of plumbing systems, including irrigation systems. The Plumber will maintain, test, and repair Life Safety Systems, order and purchase materials, and maintain stock in the warehouse. The position requires reading and interpreting blueprints, preparing records, and performing accurate reporting on daily tasks. The Plumber must also be available for after-hours call backs to perform essential services, making this a critical role within the department. Requirements • At least three years of full-time journeyman-level plumbing experience. , • Possess an active Journeyman-level plumber license issued by the State of Colorado.
