Position: Pipefitter Location: Cheyenne, Wyoming, United States Pay: $32–$36 per hour (DOE) Hours: 45–55 hours per week, including some Saturdays Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join our team in Cheyenne. The Pipefitter will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems in industrial and commercial settings. This role requires expertise in pipefitting techniques, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a strong commitment to safety. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, skilled with various piping materials, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: • Install, maintain, and repair piping systems in industrial and commercial settings. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. • Cut, thread, and assemble pipe materials with precision. • Ensure all installations comply with OSHA and company safety standards. • Perform inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of piping systems. • Work with a variety of materials, including metal, PVC, and copper. Requirements: • Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a related role. • Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques, tools, and materials. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Must have current OSHA certification and follow all safety regulations. • Certification in pipefitting or related trade is a plus. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and flexible with schedule. • Must pass pre-employment drug screening. Qualifications • High school degree or GED preferred or equivalent combination of skills and experience. • Journeyman or Master License required. • Good physical condition and ability to stand for extended periods of time. • Good dexterity and eye-hand coordination. • Aptitude for technical problem-solving. • Familiarity with building codes and current laws/regulations. • Ability to maintain clean and orderly tools/work area. • Good communication skills both verbal and written. • Expert knowledge of trade tools, equipment, and materials. • Keen eye for detail. Minimum Physical Requirements and Accountability • Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas. • Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations. • Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch. • Work in all types of weather. • Ability to lift, move, and/or carry 50 lbs.
