Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Gas Fitter to install, inspect, repair, and maintain gas lines, appliances, and systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, and committed to adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: • Install and maintain gas lines, regulators, and appliances (e.g., furnaces, stoves, water heaters). • Inspect and test gas piping systems for leaks using appropriate tools and methods. • Diagnose and repair faults in gas appliances and systems. • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national codes and safety regulations. • Provide clients with estimates, maintenance advice, and usage instructions. • Complete job reports, inspection records, and compliance documentation. • Collaborate with contractors, utility companies, and other trades as needed. Qualifications: • Proven experience in gas fitting and appliance installation/repair. • Valid driver’s license • Strong knowledge of gas safety codes and regulations. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. • Good physical condition and manual dexterity. Preferred: • Additional certifications (e.g., HVAC, Plumbing, Hot Water Heat, Fireplaces. • Experience with both residential and commercial systems.
