Experienced Industrial Pipefitters

Pipefitter Location: High Point, North Carolina --- Benefits: · Weekly pay · Medical, Dental, & Vision insurance · 401(k) with a generous company match · Free basic life insurance · Short & Long-term disability insurance --- Schedule: · 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM with overtime as necessary Location: High Point, NC Pay $23-$26 per hour --- Responsibilities: · Install industrial piping systems, including chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensed water. · Read and interpret blueprints and submittals. · Fabricate pipe supports and spool copper lines. · Work independently, problem solve, and make decisions on the job. · Repair, cap, and test various types of plumbing and piping systems. · Supervise and instruct plumbing helpers. · Adhere to and practice all safety procedures. · Operate necessary equipment as per licensing requirements. --- Education Requirements & Qualifications: · Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. · Rigging knowledge is preferred. · 5 years of pipefitting experience is preferred. · Comprehensive knowledge of pipefitting tools, power tools, and fabrication methods. · Understanding of different types of pipe, valves, fittings, and their functions. · Familiarity with general code requirements and limitations. · Knowledge of occupational hazards, including safe use of ladders. --- Job Requirements & Special Skills: · Ownership of pipefitting hand tools. · Ability to work independently or as part of a team. · Strong verbal communication skills. · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. · Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods. · Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures and noise levels at or above 90 decibels. Pipefitter Top Helper - Construction

Responsibilities: • Aid pipefitters in the layout, assembly, and installation of piping systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications and blueprints. • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles using hand and power tools, preparing materials for installation. • Assist with the installation of pipe systems, supports, fixtures, and equipment for various piping systems such as water, gas, and steam. • Inspect and test installed systems to identify leaks and other issues, making necessary adjustments and repairs as needed. • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, ensuring a safe work environment by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety meetings. • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring they are cleaned, stored properly, and available for use when needed. • Help maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered during the project. • Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the project, providing practical solutions to maintain project timelines and quality standards. • Assist in training and mentoring less experienced helpers, promoting skill development and adherence to best practices within the pipefitting trade. Education Requirements/Qualifications: • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a pipefitter helper or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of pipefitting techniques and practices. • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of relevant vocational training or an apprenticeship program is preferred. Job Requirements/Special Skills: • Proficient in using hand and power tools related to pipefitting. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. • Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
