Learn more about us: Deitemeyer Brothers Website Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules for multiple residential projects. • Collaborate with project managers and site superintendents to align schedules with project goals and field conditions. • Coordinate subcontractor and supplier schedules to ensure timely delivery of labor and materials. • Track and update project milestones, including permits, inspections, and homeowner walkthroughs. • Identify potential scheduling conflicts and propose adjustments to mitigate project delays. • Provide weekly and monthly schedule updates and reports to project teams and management. • Monitor critical path activities and implement recovery plans when projects fall behind. • Assist in preconstruction planning by developing preliminary schedules for bidding and client presentations. • Maintain clear communication with clients regarding schedule expectations and changes. • Ensure compliance with building codes, permit requirements, and inspection timelines. • Support project close-out by tracking completion of punch list items and final inspections. Required Skills and Qualifications: • 2+ years of scheduling experience in residential construction (single-family homes, multi-family units, or residential remodeling). • Strong understanding of residential construction processes, sequencing, and best practices. • Proficiency with scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Buildertrend, CoConstruct, or similar residential-focused platforms). • Excellent time management, communication, and collaboration skills. • Ability to read and understand blueprints, construction documents, and project specifications. • Familiarity with local permit processes and inspection scheduling. • Ability to proactively identify and solve scheduling conflicts. • High attention to detail and organization. • Valid driver's license and ability to visit job sites as needed.
