We are looking for a COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT- IMMEDIATE OPENING who is extremely reliable, has a positive attitude and is committed to delivering quality work above and beyond specifications and expectations. We are looking to fill this position IMMEDIATELY. This project is already underway and located in the Fort Valley/Byron, GA area. We are looking for someone who is familiar with mid-scale sitework and industrial construction builds from ground-up. Requirements: • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in commercial construction. • Must be willing to TRAVEL and be away from home depending on what project you are assigned to. (Typical travel consists of Georgia, along some projects in South Carolina, Florida and/or Alabama.) • Must have “ground up/start-to-finish” commercial construction experience. • Must possess good organizational and communication skills; and be able to communicate accordingly with the project manager and owner. • Must be knowledgeable of building and site layout process; understanding blueprints and construction schedule and ability to communicate that information. • Must be able to maintain an accurate and complete set of project documents including field revisions and notes. • Must be able to orchestrate subcontractors & coordinate related inspections. • Must communicate regular updates and monitor / manage construction progress. • Must be capable of maintain strict control over the accuracy, quality and conformance to plans and specs for subcontracts and suppliers work. • Must coordinate subcontractor work scopes; overall project quality control. • Must coordinate any and all material deliveries. • Must review and analyze site and building plans in order to monitor and ensure compliance with plan specifications. • Must be able to walk job sites, lift/pull/push up to 50 pounds on occasion and be capable of working outdoors during all season. • General computer skills. • Must orchestrate company safety policy and perform weekly tool box talks. • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related fields is desirable. • Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Perform daily inspection of construction projects monitoring quality and adherence to building code requirements, construction drawings and project specifications.
