For any applicants who are inquiring about their application or interview, please text us at 323-831-8067 Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Assist equipment operators and foremen on active construction sites. • Perform manual labor including trench work, material handling, site cleanup, and utility locating. • Serve as a spotter and safety observer for operators during excavation and equipment operation. • Identify potential hazards and communicate effectively to the crew to ensure a safe worksite. • Maintain tools and equipment and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). • Follow site-specific safety protocols and company standards at all times. • Travel to various job sites with overnight stays (1-4 nights/week as needed). • Work outdoors in various weather conditions year-round. • Complete assigned tasks independently or as part of a team. Qualifications: • High School diploma or GED preferred. • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred (BC Excavating will provide it if needed). • 1 year of construction experience preferred, but open to entry-level candidates with strong work ethic and willingness to learn. • Valid Driver's License required; CDL Class A preferred or willingness to obtain. • Must be safety-driven with a strong attention to detail. • Physically and mentally capable of performing demanding tasks. • Able to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings. • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to show up on time for work.
