Construction Specialist

Audubon is currently seeking a Construction Manager to join our team. The Construction Manager is responsible for the execution of the project. Overseeing the safety standards and costs of the project, the Construction Manager ensures that the project is completed on time and according to the client's specification. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Oversees daily JSA (Job Safety Analysis). • Organizes daily work activities. • Organizes job tasks. • Oversees daily construction. • Monitors costs. • Manages personnel on the job. • Visual inspection of crew's job performance. • Organizes any Third Party Contractor activities. • Assures adherence to engineering specifications. • Communicates daily with project management about any issues and to update progress of work. • Reports daily to client and Project Manager about activities and issues concerning project. • Monitors and manages transportation requirements as needed. EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. • Requires 10+ years of experience in construction, preferably offshore. • Extensive knowledge of fabrication procedures is required. • Problem solving abilities must be evident. • Must be skilled in conflict resolution. • Good communication skills with crew members as well as clients are vital.
