Construction Laborer II

We are currently looking for Construction Laborers to join our hardworking construction crews in Kalispell, MT. This is a fantastic opportunity for motivated individuals seeking a long-term career in the construction industry with significant room for growth. Qualifications: • At least 1 year of labor experience is strongly preferred. • Previous construction experience is a plus. • Must be at least 18 years old. Key Responsibilities: • Operate and care for construction equipment and machines. • Assist equipment operators and other skilled laborers as needed. • Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, moving obstacles, and digging trenches. • Load and unload construction materials. • Build and dismantle temporary structures as required. • Perform site cleanup and operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment like skid steers or mini excavators. • Follow all safety policies and maintain a safe working environment. • Participate in on-the-job training to develop skills and knowledge. • Complete additional tasks as directed by the supervisor. Desired Skills: • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to regulations • Effective communication, time management, and interpersonal skills • Positive attitude with a dependable and coachable mindset • Ability to work well in a team or independently as needed • Willingness to work flexible shifts, extended hours, and overtime when required • Occasional sitting • Lift/Carry Up to 51 - 75 Lbs. • Occasional Kneel/Crawl • Occasional climbing and reaching • Occasional fine manipulation • Rarely use of Foot controls • Frequent grasping hand and power tools • Occasional bending/stooping • Frequent push/pull • Frequent standing, walking, and balancing Physical Requirements: • Regularly lift 50 to 75 lbs. • Perform repetitive movements such as bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders or steps. • Sit or stand for extended periods and walk on uneven ground. • Work safely in various weather conditions, noisy environments, and around vibrations. • Continuous use of hand tools and fine manipulation.
