Job Description We are looking for a skilled Construction Manager with experience in environmental remediation, geotechnical, civil construction and/or demolition fields. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for onsite management across a variety of project sizes. You'll oversee superintendents, foremen and field crews with oversight from a Project Manager or Operations Director. The Construction Manage may also be responsible for a variety of project related administrative functions. This role requires a high degree of autonomy, judgment, and experience in construction execution and field management. This is a project-based position, extensive travel required. Responsibilities • Champion and enforce Company Safety Culture and site-specific Health & Safety Plans. • Conduct Job Hazard Analysis, pre-task planning, and safety briefings. • Direct and manage construction and/or environmental remediation activities to meet project design, schedule, and budget. • Coordinate materials, subcontractors, vendors, and labor resources. • Support Project Manager in hiring and onboarding craft personnel. • Foster strong client relationships and contribute to positive site morale. • Mentor and train direct reports, including Superintendents and Foremen. • Manage daily reporting, cost tracking, and quantity logs. • Select, schedule, and track construction equipment to optimize performance. • Assist with proposals, submittals, cost estimating, and change order development. • Participate in incident investigations and reporting processes. Qualifications • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and scheduling software. • Strong knowledge of cost control, labor, and equipment tracking systems. • Skilled in interpreting project contracts and developing change notices. • Effective communicator with the ability to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage competing deadlines under pressure. • Valid driver's license and ability to meet Company driving qualifications. • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification or ability to obtain (Company provided).
