The Estimator/Junior Quantity Surveyor, will assist the Project Manager to ensure that projects are accurately planned and delivered within budget. Preparing accurate quantity take-offs and submitting timely cost estimates for new construction or refurbishment tenders, as well as cost variations to ongoing projects. Requirements To be successful in this position you must: 1. Be able to read construction drawings and quantify materials. 2. Be familiar with the format and preparation of a Bill of Quantities. 3. Be willing and able to learn quickly. 6. Be a team player. 7. Have excellent written and verbal communications skills; Possess the following: a. Associate’s Degree in Building Construction Technology or a related field b. At least one year of experience in a similar role; The following will be a bonus: 1.
