Position Summary Machine Operators form metal parts from sheet and/or plate material of different types using CNC press brakes. Operators are responsible for making the necessary adjustments to the press brake to ensure that it is correctly set up, functioning properly and producing parts that meet blueprint specifications. Essential Responsibilities • At all times safety is a top priority while performing any part of your job. • Follow instruction given by Supervisor. • Operates CNC press brake to form sheet metal parts per specifications identified on the blueprint. • Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. • Changes out tooling as required to meet blueprint specifications. • Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction. • Measures workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation. • Stacks and transports finished workpieces for delivery to the next station. • Operates machines at production level with little supervision. • Other duties as assigned. • Able to read and comprehend basic blueprints • Safely operator basic hand tools (grinders, bevel mills, drills, etc.) • Able to safely operate 1 of 4 press brakes Education and/or Experience • High school diploma of general education degree (GED); or six months to 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Production Machine Operators

Express Employment Professionals of Walla Walla is partnering with Refresco to fill several Machine Operator positions. 2nd and 3rd shift available $18/hr for 2nd shift $18.28/hr for 3rd shift Filler – 2nd Shift – Can line • Machine operation experience preferred. Understanding of touch screens/comfortability with electronics • Manages multiple stations controlled by single machine (Filler, Caps, cooler) Description: Runs filler machine that mixes batch and fills bottle with current juice product. Juice product must be tested in the lab for vitamin levels in morning, at the start of a shift or if the machine hasn’t been running for 15 minutes or longer. This data must be collected and logged. Periodic product checks are conducted every half hour and hour. Must have attention to detail. Case Packer – 3rd Shift – Bottle Line • Multiple Machine operation. Axium, Douglas and Sticker machine. • Heavy Lifting Description: Loads case packer with cardboard for product. Input and log the accurate batch number, company, product number into the machine so printing on cases is accurate. Hourly checks to maintain accuracy. This position manages the Douglas(shrink wrapper and sticker machine as needed) Machine Operator Essential Job Functions: • Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas. • Responsible to adhere to food quality and food safety as per the standard(s) provided by corporate, customer, and/or governing bodies (ex. SQF). • Ability to read, comprehend, and adhere to a production manufacturing schedule. • Follow all Quality Assurance and Production line standard operating procedures. • Follow standard operating procedures to perform equipment changeovers; ability to read imperial and metric measurements. • Completely and accurately record all necessary information for production and quality records. Keep accurate downtime reports and documentation. • Responsible for performing equipment and general sanitation in your work area or as assigned by leadership. • Perform minor machine maintenance as well as daily and weekly preventive maintenance. • Perform any other duties assigned by leadership including but not limited to cross training, general and plant sanitation, inventory management, training, etc. Required Skills: • Experience in a high-speed beverage production environment preferred. • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure. • Adeptness in basic mathematical abilities. • Skill in understanding and interpreting gauges, thermometers, and weight measurements. • Formal training in areas such as WHIMIS, HACCP, Hygiene etc. preferred.
