Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a CNC Machinist to join a local business. Responsibilities: - Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations - Use various measuring instruments such as bore gauges and calipers to ensure accuracy of machined parts - Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or defects - Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain quality standards - Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance - Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals Qualifications: - Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role a plus - Proficient in operating CNC machines and using related tools and equipment - Basic math skills for performing calculations and measurements - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: • Paid time off Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Day shift Work Location: In person

Position Summary Machine Operators form metal parts from sheet and/or plate material of different types using CNC press brakes. Operators are responsible for making the necessary adjustments to the press brake to ensure that it is correctly set up, functioning properly and producing parts that meet blueprint specifications. Essential Responsibilities • At all times safety is a top priority while performing any part of your job. • Follow instruction given by Supervisor. • Operates CNC press brake to form sheet metal parts per specifications identified on the blueprint. • Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. • Changes out tooling as required to meet blueprint specifications. • Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction. • Measures workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation. • Stacks and transports finished workpieces for delivery to the next station. • Operates machines at production level with little supervision. • Other duties as assigned. • Able to read and comprehend basic blueprints • Safely operator basic hand tools (grinders, bevel mills, drills, etc.) • Able to safely operate 1 of 4 press brakes Education and/or Experience • High school diploma of general education degree (GED); or six months to 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
