Job Description Provide equipment, refrigeration, and HVAC maintenance, repair, and support to assigned service calls. Assist with the development of technicians' knowledge, skills, and abilities. Responsibilities • Drive independently to stores on a daily basis as assigned. • Perform preventive maintenance tasks and procedures, including audits. • Perform repairs to systems. • Optimize equipment performance using instrumentation or data. • Navigate and investigate electronic controls interfaces. • Assist with preventive maintenance for buildings and equipment. • Troubleshoot issues and repair equipment. • Replace compressors, large motors, and components. • Maintain an organized inventory of parts. • Operate equipment, vehicles, powered industrial trucks, and aerial lifts safely. • Clean and maintain company service vehicles. • Communicate with store personnel regarding equipment use and issues. • Use email for communication. • Complete repair, labor, and parts documentation timely. • Follow all policies and procedures. • Provide input for maintenance best practices. • Audit store equipment lists. • Assist other technicians in repairs. • Provide feedback during performance reviews. • Coach, mentor, and train technicians. • Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 70 pounds, climbing ladders, working in various temperatures, etc. • Work cooperatively in high-paced and stressful environments. • Manage conflicts cooperatively. • Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information. • Follow directions and seek assistance as needed. • Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults. • Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.Qualifications • Experience reading engineering drawings, manuals, and schematics. • Supervisory experience. • High school diploma or equivalent. • 7+ years of proven refrigeration/HVAC experience. • EPA Type 2 Certification. • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. • Advanced technical training or certifications. • Ability to use control manufacturer software and instruct others in its use. • Valid driver's license. • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. • Mentoring and training experience.Additional Details • Seniority level: Mid-Senior level • Employment type: Full-time • Job function: Engineering and Information Technology • Industry: Dairy Product Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
