Lead HVAC Technician

Key Responsibilities: • Lead HVAC crews in the field when the HVAC Supervisor is unavailable or assisting elsewhere • Troubleshoot and solve complex heating and cooling problems • Oversee and complete a variety of residential and light commercial service and install jobs • Ensure accurate documentation and job reporting • Coordinate with customer service to ensure effective communication and high-quality solutions for customers Requirements: • Valid Kentucky Journeyman HVAC license • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record • Strong leadership skills and the ability to keep a team organized and productive • Confidence working independently and a drive to figure things out when the path isn’t obvious What We’re Looking For: You’ve probably always been the one who steps up when something breaks — the one who gets called because you’ll get it fixed. Field Service HVAC/R Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service HVACR Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our clients in various manufacturing facilities, school systems, healthcare facilities, and many more. You will utilize your technical expertise to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair HVACR equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVACR, industrial maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical knowledge. Responsibilities • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVACR equipment in manufacturing facilities, school systems, healthcare facilities, and many more. • Troubleshoot issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLC), electrical system controls, refrigeration, and HVAC/R systems. • Utilize Computerized Field Service Technician software for tracking work orders, maintenance schedules, troubleshooting systems, and daily paperwork. • Conduct inspections and repairs on HVACR systems, BAS Control, and Process Refrigeration Systems. • Provide technical sales support by understanding customer needs and offering appropriate solutions. • Read and interpret schematics to diagnose electrical problems effectively. • Collaborate with customers to ensure high levels of service and satisfaction. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Experience • Proven experience as an HVACR Service Technician, mechanic or technician in industrial maintenance . • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVACR Service, HVAC Installation, industrial maintenance, BAS Control Systems, and System controls. • Familiarity with electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications. • Proficient in using ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools for analysis. • Experience with welding techniques is preferred; brazing, pipe fitting, welding experience is a plus. • Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers and team members. • Previous field service experience is highly desirable, along with strong customer service skills. • Join our team as a Field Service Technician where your skills will contribute to the success of our operations while delivering top-notch service to our valued clients.
