You will also receive a generous annual base salary, ranging from $40,332 to $109,952, depending on your grade level. In addition, you will be eligible for overtime pay and a range of federal benefits, including health insurance, dental insurance, and participation in the Thrift Savings Plan. To qualify for this position, you must be a U.S. citizen and have had primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years. You must also meet one of the following qualifications: • Experience: A minimum of three years of full-time general work experience that demonstrates the ability to meet and deal with people and the ability to learn and apply a body of facts. • Education Substitution: A bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. • Combination of Experience and Education: A combination of successfully completed college education AND general work experience. Additionally, you must be willing to complete a paid pre-academy orientation and a 101-day training program at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, GA. You will also be required to attend and pass an online Spanish training program if assigned to the southern border, Miami, or Puerto Rico duty locations.
