Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. This role involves constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. The Carpenter will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards of quality. Duties • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and FRP wall paneling. • Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements. • Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various carpentry tasks. • Execute metal stud and 2x4 wood framing for interior walls and other structures. • Install vinyl and rubber flooring with glue adhesive. • Apply aluminum siding to outside structure • Implement caulking techniques to ensure proper sealing of joints and seams. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols. Skills • Proficient in blueprint reading with the ability to visualize the end product from plans. • Strong knowledge of power tools, including saws, drills, and sanders. • Experience with metal and wood stud framing, CNC operations, caulking, painting, and cabinetry building is highly desirable. • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team setting. • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members.
