DPR Construction is looking for Carpenters with basic experience performing General Trades in commercial construction. Job Requirements : • General carpentry responsibilities that include helping with: temporary walls, barricades, side stairs, equipment operation and maintenance. • Ability to read tape measure. • Basic experience and knowledge on how to operate hand and power tools. • Basic experience with commercial concrete and drywall is a plus. • Patching/repairing of concrete work, concrete restoration/joint treatment experience is also a plus. • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all tools and equipment required and has the knowledge to use the equipment. Physical Requirements: • Climbing, standing, sitting, walking, reaching, bending, balancing, squatting and kneeling for prolonged periods at a time. • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs. Working Conditions: • Work occurs primarily in on-site environment and may be indoors or outdoors. May sometimes involve heights, exposure to hot or cold weather, loud noises, dust and fumes. • All PPE (Personnel Protective Equipment) must be worn always (safety vest, protective eyewear, hearing protection, gloves, sleeves as needed, hard hat, face shield and approved footwear including rubber boots).
