Responsibilities and Duties Daily you will complete work orders independently while delivering what Paul Davis has promised. In order to accomplish this you will need to have knowledge and experience completing the work assigned independent of being instructed on how to perform the tasks; Respect the property owner; have pride in what they do; and practice continuous improvement. Throughout the job you will communicate with many people inside Paul Davis as well as the property owner. Qualifications and Skills Previous experience is necessary as well as references. Trim and rough carpentry, drywall repair, basic plumbing and electrical repair are required. We are growing rapidly, and looking for competent team members to add to our crews. We are currently on a project in Holland, MI. We are a traveling general contractor with in-house carpenters. We work 60 hr weeks, Mon-Sat, pay overtime over 40. We offer health insurance benefits, and have a 401k program for added benefits. Everyone gets their own hotel room which is paid for from our office, and we pay an additional $30/day per diem. Superintendents should have experience running projects ranging in minimum from $500,000 to approximately $5M. Strong commercial carpentry skills are required in order to oversee our in-house carpenters. Carpenters will need to have commercial experience. Tasks we perform include, but are not limited to, demolition, framing, sheathing, door frames and hardware, setting cabinets, seaming countertops, acoustical ceiling grid and tile install, drywall finishing, setting fixtures and equipment, exterior siding, minor concrete work, FRP installation, etc. Applicants do not need to be highly skilled in all these areas, but some experience is required.
