Renewables Project Engineer, C&I Solar Northeast TriState Area - HYBRID Work Schedule A Private Equity Firm that has invested over $1B into the renewable energy transition across the United States is seeking to grow their organization with the addition of a Project Engineer. Their goal is to acquire late stage projects and facilitate development from NTP/Pre-NTP through to COD. They also monitor the success of assets during O&M phases as part of the operating portfolio. Other key clean energy investments that they are involved in include infrastructure for electric vehicles and utility-scale battery storage. The role will be tasked with managing multiple projects concurrently to drive late stage project development and engineering/EPC initiatives pertaining to pre-construction, engineering design, project finance, contract agreement reviews, permitting, PPA, and transmission interconnection processes. It will also play a key role in monitoring the success of the asset through the O&M team post COD. An ideal candidate needs to be based in the Northeast Tri-State Area and have significant experience dealing with the Electrical Utilities / Municipalities in the region. Exposure to RTOs/ISOs like NYISO & ISO-NE are a HUGE plus.
